About Dr. Juanita Hicks

Dr. Juanita Hicks understood the importance of chiropractic treatment at a young age when she was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Regular adjustments have minimized the joint stiffness associated with this chronic condition. Chiropractic care has been a part of her health maintenance routine her entire life.

Although she was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Hicks has called Houston home for eight years. After completing her Bachelor of Business Administration at Incarnate Word University she moved to Houston to pursue a career in information technology. Soon she discovered she enjoyed helping people more than helping machines and enrolled at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. Dr. Hicks completed the program with honors and took postgraduate classes in acupuncture therapy as well.


When she isn’t devoting time to helping people live happier, painfree lives, Dr. Hicks is active in her faith community and loves to cook for friends, nurture a garden, read on various subjects and write short stories. She is also the proud parent of three spoiled, mischievous cats!

Dr. Hicks uses her own experiences as a patient to bring compassion and caring to every patient she meets.
